We guarantee you’ll be standing up with a smile by the end of your first day. Get set for an adventure and learn to see the ocean from the eyes of a surfer.
At surf camp you’ll learn how to read waves by predicting, selecting and judging them. You’ll learn how to paddle, catch a wave, and stand up! We provide daily surf instruction and the equipment (wetsuits, rash guards, surfboards). We group campers based on surfing ability so you’ll feel comfortable and make the most progress possible. Even if you’ve already been surfing, Surfer Girls Overnight Women’s Camp will give you the experience of waking up and surfing everyday. You’ll become more familiar with different waves and different conditions. With that and instruction tailored to your needs by a team of experienced, professional and caring surf instructors who love what they do, you won’t be able to wait till the next time you can get on a board and paddle out.
Besides surfing all day, you’ll have plenty of time for other activities. End the day with a sunset surf session or just relax and grab a drink with some friends. In San Diego the boardwalk is a popular place to enjoy the scenery and take a long walk, run, skate, or bike ride. Surfer Girls is also steps from Mission Bay, a beautiful place to sail, kayak or stand up paddle. In Hawaii you’ll have a chance to see the giant sea turtles, go snorkeling or gaze at a magical waterfall. In Costa Rica you can set off into the rainforest to explore the indescribable vegetation. On top of all that, you’ll still have plenty of time to experience nightlife whether you’re in San Diego, Hawaii, or Costa Rica.
Challenge yourself on a weeklong adventure of learning to surf and enjoy the exhilarating experience of living just steps from the beach. Your beachside accommodation will be fully prepared with bed linens and towels. You’ll have wireless Internet and TV with a DVD player. We’ll provide a breakfast buffet and dinner. Lunch is up to you. There’s no need to rent a car because everything you need is within walking distance.
